Star Care Medical Academy is a well-established medical training company that has built up an enviable reputation over the last 20 years. We pride ourselves on our commitment to provide professional and innovative training solutions.

We offer accredited UK courses as well as international courses for those who work abroad. Our courses cover every level of expertise from a one day first aid course to advanced cardiac life support (ACLS).

We have a fully equipped training centre in trowbridge that meet the training requirements for your course. The instructors come with many years of experience and expertise to help you on your medical journey.

Martin is our managing director and main Paramedic instructor he can run a variety of the courses we offer. He has been in the health and social care industry for over 25 years and has been teaching for over 20 years. He has experience in many roles within the NHS, as well as the private health care industry.

Kat is our training director and is an advanced Ambulance Technician. She has been frontline for more than 10 years. She currently runs the Trowbridge Centre whilst looking after their 1-year-old. She is currently on an educational pathway to become an instructor.

We hope to expand our trainer and course portfolio in the future so we can provide more choice and different packages to our customers.

Star Care Medical Professionals our sister company supply medical staff to events. Our experienced teams are able to cover any event, no matter how big or small it is. We can provide a mix of skill levels from Advanced First Aiders to Paramedics and even Doctors. All our staff have been fully vetted and qualifications verified. Dedicated Educators

Learning is made easier by knowledgeable instructors that have real world experience. Our team have over 60 years of combined experience in medical training and education. They are all passionate about the subjects they teach and bring this enthusiasm into their lessons, whether it's prehospital trauma or a first aid course.

Training Centre

Our training centre is based in Trowbridge where we have a room that can easily cater for training courses of up to 12 delegates. The room has its own dedicated kitchen and has access to a microwave, fridge as well as Tea and coffee making facilities. There is a male and female toilet situated off the main room. The building is step free to the training room and has disabled toilet facilities across the hall. Our premises are located within the White Horse Enterprise Centre.

Instructors

Our instructors consist of Paramedics and Advanced Ambulance Technicians. We want to expand our range of courses offered and hope to increase the number of our training staff. To find out more go and meet the team
