Hi my name is Martin, I am the founder and owner of the Star Care Medical Group. The group currently has two parts, Star Care Medical Professionals which caters for "Event Medical Cover" and the "Training Academy" were we teach courses from "First Aid" all the way up to "Ambulance Technician".

I am a qualified HCPC Paramedic in the UK,  I have over 20 years frontline emergency experience, working in many different fields. I have worked in and on frontline ambulances, specialist operations and rescue (HART), police custody and forensics, minor injuries and illness centres, GP surgeries and the out of hours service. I have specialised in mental health as well as drug and alcohol addiction. I have experience working with military veterans who are in crisis as well as the homeless.

I have been teaching for many years gaining my level 3 Award in Education and Training as well as my level 3 Certificate in Assessing Vocational Achievement. I have a real passion surrounding teaching others. I am not like any other who you may have been taught by before. I prefer visual education and I deliver it with energy and pride. I will make your learning experience the best you have ever received. I treat all my students with respect and understanding what ever their level.

Hi my name is Kat, I am the office manager and the one that is truly in charge of Star Care Medical Group. My husband Martin is only allowed to think he is in charge.

I am a qualified IHCD Advanced Technician, I have over 10 years frontline emergency experience, working in many different fields. I have worked on frontline ambulances, in Accident and Emergency departments as an advanced HCA, GP surgery as a  Phlebotomist, 111 out of hours. Pharmacy Technician and now work in a medical centre for a large hospitality company. Oh! and just recently became a full time mum to our daughter Poppy.   

I have been teaching others for many years, mainly under the guidance of others and I am waiting to complete my level 3 Award in Education and Training. We have set up the training academy together as we feel we have a lot of experience and knowledge we can share with others. Both Martin and I work extremely well together, especially under pressure at events and have done so for many years without harming one another.
